The Medway Plaza is privately owned, and the BOS or PB has no say in who rents space there. The PB and BOS did allow the construction of the new Medway Commons in order to allow for a little competition, without which the Medway Plaza was never going to improve. The Dollar Store is obviously not the improvement we were all waiting for, but it shows desperation on the part of the owner. Hopefully we will either see improvement in the plaza, or they will sell it to someone who will make this prime location the crown jewel it could be.
